Cowboy Bebop is sublime.

My fav too. I love anything Shinichirō Watanabe does. Samurai Champloo is another fav.
There are hints that Space Dandy is within the Cowboy Beebop universe.... :O

My absolute Fav anime of all time is the Original Ghost in the Shell from back in the 90's. I adore that film. ADORE it. (the scarlett johansson live action is *&$"£$ rubbish).

No sure how much anime ive watched or Manga ive read over the years, but its alot. When i was last in Osaka i spent an entire week in the garden of my Hostel reading Manga with a constant supply of Asahi..(good times).

I will say though that i dont like the new CG (cell shade) animated trend working it way into the industry. looks crap.

I just finished watching Nichijou, which is one of the funniest and well made things Ive ever watched, highly recommend it

Special mention for Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.
I watched it as a butchered dub called Battle of the Planets when I was a kid. Through the power of the internet it is now possible to watch all of the original series in native Japanese and it comes across as a totally different series! Violence, ecological themes and actual character development instead of the watered down version we were served up in the 70s.

As for Cowboy Bebop, I don't rate it. Swordfish is a nice ship, and I saw it in the background of Aech's workshop in Ready Player One, but that's the only thing I liked about the show.
Attack on Titan seemed to have so much promise, but was let down by poor characterisation. I couldn't get behind Erin because he was a whiny little @#£&.
Sword Art Online was similar. Good concept, let down by poorly executed characters.

Just finished S1 of a Godzilla series, which had one episode, a 90min movie.
I hope they do a S2.
Attack on titan is really messed up, awaiting the next season.
