Aninals with funny locomotion

Everybody's doing a brand new dance, now. C'mon baby, do the loco-motion

Ok, guy, this is a thread for talking about animals with funny locomotion.

What got me thinking about this were 2 animals:

Coquerel's sifaka - the way these little guys skip across the forest floor is wonderful to watch, and I hope that we can get my favorite lemur into the game

Horses - I love to see a horse prancing around, head up and trotting its way

What about y'all?

I love it when documentaries show Springboks pronking as it always make me smile, especially as my terrier does something similar in long grass!

I also love watching lambs play in the fields. I watched some this morning all rushing in and then leaping out of a stream with high banks. Modern domestic breeds of sheep can't move like that as adults but it's not just playtime but their DNA from when their ancestors were wild and lived in or near mountains telling them to get fit and learn how to be agile in treacherous terrain. But it's also just

I can also sit and watch endless footage of snakes moving as it's hypnotic and beautiful, especially as I'm not a mouse.

Gibbons man... when they add them I wonder how their gonna animate their walk because it's very funny IRL. In ZT2 they walked very weirdly on the ground so I'm interested in how Frontier will do it.

Tasmanian devils have a funny way of moving. They resemble other carnivores but they kind of hop around like four-legged kangaroos.
This post made me realize that I guess I’ve never actually seen footage of a Tasmanian devil running before, or if I have it was a long time ago. I just watched some clips on YouTube and my mind is blown. They’re really fascinating creatures, aren’t they?

That’s how I’ve always heard the thylacine’s movement described, too. It’s one of the quickest ways to debunk alleged modern sightings as just being dogs.

I want to believe.

No seriously, it's probably the only cryptid-adjacent thing I don't allow myself to not believe in. Bigfoot, Yeti? Just a bear man. Loch Ness Monster? Hoax. Chupacabra? Dog with mange. Surviving thylacines? Oh, definitely.

I really hope the Papua New Guinea theory is true. Locals have said to have seen them (even more than singing dogs apparently) according to Forest Gallante. Idk but we can hope
