Anlave going into Expansion!
We thought by now the boom state would be over. Not so, it is still going strong. However, it should be replaced with Expansion today or tomorrow at latest. Yes, Contrail is over the magic 75% influence mark where Pending Expansion spawns, have been for a couple of days now.
We're not entirely new to this as a good while ago we expanded into Ross 302 - a rinky-dink tinpot little extraction system with two Outposts and a lot of RES with plenty of opportunities for Bounty-Hunting.
Our resources are limited though, and we got no ambition of spreading around all over the place. So we're crossing fingers and toes this expansion will yield a system with at least one large station so that we can settle down with only three systems to care for.

A small wing of intrepid and curious as cats Contrail commanders flew over to the reported crash site of an alien ship in the Pleiades Sector. Not too far from Anlave in relative terms. 400LYs is just a hop and a skip away in a properly fitted Asp.

Exciting new discovery, and we're looking forward to how it develops as the next major patch is released in October.

Get to know Anlave - Focus on Anlave 10!
Probably the best kept secret of Anlave, is Anlave 10 who by some sorcery spawned a Low and Hazardous RES a few months ago.
Orbiting Anlave is also Bain Dock, a commercial Outpost with repair facilities and even a commodity market. Unfortunately no restock, so if out of ammo from blasting away at one of the RES, one have to do the long trek back to Hogg, Suri or Kobayashi.
Three moons also orbit Anlave 10, plus Anlave 11. These are all icy planets with an atmosphere so not anything to get excited about just yet. Maybe in 2.4 or Season 3?

Newsflash: The 'Weekly' in 'Anlave Weekly' is not entirely literally accurate...
It should be read more as 'certainly no longer than two weeks between issues!' but our research department tells us that is too long to fit on this esteemed publications title graphics.
