Annoying skybox bug

Currently on my way to WP7 of DW2 just before Great Annhilator in the core of the galaxy. I have the problem that the stars in the Skybox randomly disappear over the course of a few jumps, and sometimes reappear after a while. Relogging doesn't fix it, however restarting the client completely does.
Really annoying especially if you want to take screenshots, as the pictures look completely different in this region of the galaxy without the stars around.
Is this a known bug? Are there any known workarounds?

After restarting the client (exact same location).

Doesn't look like many people have had this problem by the lack of replies.

I can' be sure but I think I might have seen something like this a month back when I was looking in one particular direction.

I'll have a look through some old screenshots.

Its pretty common for me. I have just gotten use to it. Happens all the time near the centre.

I reported this as a bug days after 3.3 dropped. It appears to be cross-platform (I have it on PS4). I hate it to the point that I no longer do deep-space exploration.

Thanks for everybody that replied, I forgot to mention I play on PC, so the bug seems to exist on all platforms.

A short update, while this happened to me all the time yesterday (at least 10 times), I just played for 2 hours now and it didn't happened once.
Not much changed on my side, haven't even rebooted my PC since yesterday.

However I have moved on closer to WP7, around Wulfric now. So the bug might be specific to some regions?
Or some communication problems with FDEV servers? No idea.

I've seen this too, on PC. I hadn't really noticed the significance because it's been a while since I went near the core and when I went back out there I just put it down to the new lighting / dust model. But when I did a quick sprint to Sag A* to use the new station facilities, it was obvious something was amiss. No amount of dust could account for the lack of visible stars. It's particularly jarring when you log back in and there's one of those massive cube-edges of stars caused by a Stellar Forge oddity, sitting right in front of you where none was before. A quirk and a bug combining in the worst possible way.

I'm seeing this bug too. After quite a bit of research I keep seeing FDev saying they'd have to generate the galaxy anew since it's a problem with forge. But I doubt that is the case. If it was forge related this would be a permanent deal. But instead as soon as I have the buggy skybox I can exit to the main menu and relog. That fixes the issue, but it only lasts for a couple of more jumps before the skybox breaks again.

Happens on Xbox as well.

This bug was around the last time I went out on an expedition as well and that was over a year ago. What you'll find is that if you look behind you, you're leaving the stars behind as you jump - an area around you loads in and as you leave the area (which can be around 3 or 4 jumps depending on your range), you can see the group of stars get smaller behind you.

Then when there's no stars left, all of them will load in for one system, and then start receding all over again.

I thought it had been fixed, evidently not. So at the moment if you want screenshots showing all the stars, you'll need to reload the client.

Can confirm it is like this for both me and my brother. I am on a PC, he is using his Xbox commander for DW2.
