Another DWE straggler makes it back

I finally returned to the bubble yesterday evening - various bits of real life and quite a lot of scanning being responsible for the delay.
.
My aim was to get to Beagle Point on 100% hull and make Elite Explorer when I sold the data.
.
The ship and I are both still on 100% hull! Yay!
.
And I have my DWE decal to go with my shiny new ELITE EXPLORER decal! More yays!
.
But I think I overdid the scanning. Started DWE with 45m cr earned for exploration data. After a mishap with a neutron star between WP 6 and 7 returned to the bubble for repairs and sold 26m cr of exploration data. Last night I sold 160m cr of exploration data!!! [smile]
.
My total DWE data was 186m cr to give a grand total of 231m cr of exploration data.
.
I hit Elite at a total of 157m cr so I could have gone from AIMLESS to ELITE with JUST the second tranche of DWE data. As it is I'm 74m cr over Elite with is a tad large for a safety margin but what the hell.
.
If you want money - my advice is scan EVERY HMC and anything that looks like a water world or ELW. Interestingly terraformable waterworlds can earn over 70k cr whereas an ELW is usually around 65k. But it's those terraformable HMCs at 40k per pop that really pile up the cash. That and SAG A* rolling in at over 600k.

SAG A* was the highest at 631,850 cr (I did scan the class B star as well but you do get there really quickly even though it is a long way off - highest acceleration rate I've ever seen).

Next was SPEAMOEA WU-E D12-543 at 434,627 cr, this is the four Earth Like Worlds system, but again I did scan it all.
.
Obviously I didn't get the "first discovered bonus" for these two systems. I did get some 350k systems which with the bonus would have been more that SPEAMOEA.
.
It's a shame the reward for SAG A* is so big as I can't imagine that any other system could match it. Takes the fun out of trying to find one just that little bit bigger than the last.

You can get more... I got 50% more for my highest earner but I can't for the life of me remember where it is... it might've been the one with 12 TCs and several metal rich.

Well done Cmdr, likewise I just returned from DWE a few days ago. Getting used to having my backside whipped by NPC's after so long in the black!

Congratulations on making it safely back. My estimate, based on how long it took to get the Beagle Point just playing weekends, is that I'll be back sometime in September :D.

Congrats. My main ship ain't left BP yet, my second ship is around 5Klys away from The Great Annihilator as I missed this on the way out. My round trip should be around 6000 systems when I return unless I deviate somewhere else. Not sure if I WANT to return, more a case of NEED if only to get repaired and get decal.
