Another life stage

I wish there was another life stage between juvenile and adult. It's crazy watching a tiny piglet become a massive warthog instantly, or an elephant be a tiny baby size at 10 years old.

If there was an Adolescent stage, this could involve a new animal model, still not of breeding age BUT able to trade and release to wild. This could alleviate the current problem of babies growing up and instantly fighting with the adults- a kind of buffer life span. The animals are comfortable with each other, can be traded out, but can't breed yet.

I dont know, right now, the time flies so fast that it would probably not be worth it. Game can only have so much realism. Just my opinion though.

This would help with the time and the problems that go with it. Right now it's impossible to play the game comfortably because AS SOON as you get a message saying "Warthog 1 has matured into an adult", they fight and it must be addressed -immediately- by you. You have to stop everything right then and fix the problem.
I currently get a message before the animal matures, saying it is ABOUT to mature. But there is nothing I can do with it while it is a juvenile. I can't send it to another zoo, I can't release to wild, so the message is essentially useless. Going to the animal when that message pops up is also a waste of time because it still takes a bit for the animal to grow.

The Adolescent lifestage would give you the chance to know you need to move the animal to avoid problems, and actually give you the time to do it before the problems start.

There should be an adolescent stage. It's a big job to implement properly though. So maybe just a name tag stating that it's in its adolescent life.

Adolescents should also be able to be bought and sold on the market in my opinion. Some people would like to have longer with their animals and this would allow that and some people would love to be able to remove adolescent animals from their zoo before they become an issue.

Take Aardvarks for example, they only want to live as a maximum of two, so a breeding pair. I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone but I started with those and everytime a baby hits maturity it's an instant fight before I can even deal with the situation, so it'd be great to have a period of time where an animal is neither reliant on its parents to survive nor being a nuisance to the rest of the habitat. A time in which is okay to remove the animal before its an issue.

I know I could just create another spare habitat enclosure for them and throw them straight in, but I only want to do that with animals I'm proactively breeding for sales or challenges and not just the animals I want to reproduce just solely for the purpose of keeping in the zoo so I'm not forced to buy more of when they die.

I agree a teenage stage should be added at some point in time. (Also people saying time goes by so fast it wouldn’t be worth it well that’s why time needs slowed down)

Wasn’t it stated before release (in several Q&As) that animals grew gradually? I expected that to mean gradual growth from young to adult, but now they just pop from baby model to adult.

Although that’s hardly my biggest gripe, since babies and adults all act exactly the same anyway.
