Well done! I'll take all of those - but I should just point out a correction, or maybe clarification, while there are Wombats in Tasmania there is not a specific "Tasmanian Wombat", I think that's just the common wombat if I'm not mistaken. Dont' leave it out though, but all means, I would love for the wombats to make the game.

The Tasmanian wombat (Vombatus ursinus tasmaniensis) is a subspecies of the common wombat (Vombatus ursinus) ;) But yeah there are missing!

Pretty good list! Only thing I would change is that if Asia gets 2 more animal packs and South America gets a second visit, I think it'd only be fair for Australia to get a full animal pack too (with additional Oceanian animals like kiwis and tree kangaroos being withheld for the Islands DLC). Otherwise there's a lot of key species still missing, although you did cover my three greatest wants (devil, wombat and tree kangaroo) so I wouldn't be too upset as long as they made it in.

I do not want American black bear

And that's all I want.

Yeah I don't see either of the "large expansions" happening. I think we will get birds eventually, but I have a suspicion that these new animal packs we're getting are leading up to it in some way ("Flying Animals Pack" or something to that effect), and we'll get at most eight habitat birds (and no exhibit species, unless they want to do smaller aviaries for smaller birds or something).

Most marine animals are not going to make it in.

Otherwise I like a lot of your ideas. Some of them seem kind of arbitrary in terms of categorisation but otherwise some good thought has gone into them. (y)

Well, I also don't think that such a big list of DLCs will happen - not even in a similar way. It is more of a wishlist, a missed-potential-of-the-game list or utopia list.

The categories are not that random if you think about it. The subcategories within Asia are already implemented not only in the item themes but in the basal game's animal choises. Those animal packs would just enlarge the animal list from those already existing concepts.
On the other hand I tried to include 'key species' for a zoo. For example, I expected a gibbon species in the latest Southeast Asia Animal Pack. It was not included - therefore I included this in general highly required taxon in the fictional India Animal Pack. I also could put a moose or beaver into the North American Animal Pack or the lynx into the Europe Animal Pack - but I did made a list of key species and distributed them into several packs to not only result in a divers selection of packs but to make every pack interesting enough for itself. Lately, Frontier wrote about such a process as well. For them such a process is important to sell a lot of DLCs. If the animal selection isn't that interesting for a lot of players - this could fire back.
Such a Animal Pack around 'Conservation' is not only logical for a modern zoo game with kind of an educational approach but also no new invention since the 'Endangered Animal Expansion Pack' of Zoo Tycoon 2. My species selection for this latter pack contains animals where zoos where essential for the species survival or where the species is still extinct in the wild (and only survives in zoos currently).
The sketch of an Egyptian Pack was due to the missing dormedary and the fact that the theme itself would be a cool inclusion for Planet Zoo. It would be possible to include an ancient Egytian them into an African Pack as well... But a seperation would of cause enlarge the animal list in general (and a potential financal gain for the company).

Let's see what the Frontier team plans for the game's future... Because I think such topics, wishlists and DLC ideas show the unused potenial of the game that was (I think) even expected before release. Especially for marine animals (such as in ZT2: Marine Mania) or as a step forward an avairy pack (because we never got this in ZT2).

Love a lot of these ideas, even the bird pack. I just really need my asian small clawed otter and a skunk, a european badger would be nice as well. Otherwise... yeah, I'd be happy with that road.

Sounds that we also need a Small Mammal Pack XD XD XD
But with my version of DLCs you at least get a striped skunk ;P

Let's all just hope Frontier doesn't want to compete with Prehistoric Kingdom by releasing/working on a new Jurassic World Evolution BORE game, I hope they support this game till the very end, until a new zoo game (non dinosaurs) is released.
Well, I'm pretty sure this will have been in development for a while now. There was some debate on whether or no they would release a game when Dominion comes out, which ofc would've been last year if not for COVID. Since Universal is their boss when it comes to the games, if Universal has mandated they release a prequel game to coincide with Domino's release, like how JWE and Fallen Kingdom were basically released side-by-side, then Frontier really has no say in the matter.
