I didn't do any neutron or dawrf farming this trip so the payout was only 80 mil. I left the bubble in the middle of August, returned yesterday.
A little over 4,000 systems visited.

Highest paying system: 343,897 CR

The most interesting system: This one was definitely a heart sinker. We all know about the white dots that follow you around in odd trajectories when close to or inside a black hole system. Well in here you have 3 white dots AND depending on the angle you have 2 red dots that have even more bizarre trajectories.

Interesting, three white dots and two red? Is there just the one black hole in that system or am I not seeing one?

Yes, just one, it's the main star which is also shown in the the second screenshot. The extra white dots were most likely from a neighboring neutron star system but I can't explain the red ones. One of the red ones grew smaller and smaller so it seemed like it was moving away from me at great speed.

I'd rep you like 50 times per image if I could. Absolutely stunning.

This one is by far my favorite. That perspective, wow!

So these little white (red) dots that follow you around...these are caused by a black hole in your system or in a nearby system?

I had one the other week and I thought it was a glitch in the game. Took a couple of picks but don't look like much since it was only one little white dot...There was no black hole in the system I was in (at least that I was aware of).

and +1rep for the amazing pics.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah those dots indicate the position of a neutron star or a black hole (not sure if white dwarfs project this dot anywhere outside their own system) Basically if you spot one, align your ship so that the dot is in your center and the actual location of the black hole or neutron star will be directly behind you. Then it's a matter of quickly figuring out the direction you're a facing in the galaxy map( select each system in your left panel until you find one that is right behind you or right in front of you then plot a course to it. Now you have a direct line path that aims at the location of the star in question. Set up the filters to only display non sequence stars, zoom out a bit and follow trajectory and you'll find the star that is projecting that dot)

The one I encountered (or two?) was bouncing around right in front of me so that would mean the offending object was right behind me. Then it disappeared and another one (?) crept up on my right hand side. I took some pics so should be able to find the system again, and hopefully the dots appear again.

Thanks for the info.

Those are some incredible pictures, very well done, excellently done. An epic voyage, indeed, congratulations Commander!

A great picture set!

On the subject of the dot/s. I had a white dot accompany me from the bubble to Sag A*, every single system (2,400 I think).

At Sag A* I changed my graphics card from an AMD to a nVidia and the dot disappeared and has never returned.

I'm nowhere near convinced it means anything unless someone can link a Dev article.

In this case Vidar I think there is some validity to ThirdNostril's belief. The only system that I have seen these dots:

Is the only system where I have encountered a neutron star:
