Hi, it's possible that this has probably been discussed already, but forum search functions are nearly always a pain.

Another rank after elite for the oldies to race for :D l33t :p a suitable nod the begining of internet gaming I think and maybe add talons to the wing-ed symbol thats first page right hand panel, and maybe a special decal for yer ship.

If FD hadn't provided fast tracking through the mission board then the current ranks might have actually meant something. Adding more on top isn't the solution.

Back in the mists of time in a previous Elite game there was another rank. The rank was called Archangel if I remember rightly

after elite, the next rank is given by the opinions of anyone meeting the elite commander. such ranks include 'smug ' 'arrogant' right through to 'humble' or 'hes one of the REAL dark wheel'

But seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing another, higher rank.

Yes, the crazy people should receive bling to commemorate their insanity.

Like decals, bobbleheads, a ship kit piece, things that unlock once you reach ridiculous goals past Elite.


One example would be a "mug" bobblehead for that Hutton run. Srsly, how much work would that even be?

Your could try to reach Elite in the four ways (fight, trade, explo, cqc) and maybe for whose who actually fulfil that a new rank should be added to reward those who achieve to became Elite in all the domain, the rank : Elite: Dangerous

In the 1984 Elite (at least on the MSX version I played) you'd be given a rank of "Ideal" after completing an Elite mission to save people from a system where its main star was going super-nova.

Who knows what's next for Elite Dangerous...
