Horizons Another release... Another buggy failure

Ahh yes. Release time is upon us. But i don't know why i thought for even 1 minute i'd be able to play this today or even for the next week.
The site takes ages to load, the store even longer. Galaxy map is now broken and wierd. Just trying to get home to hop in my main ship was a chore i had to "work around" just to plot a course.
Been disconected twice now just sitting in a station. Thankfully it didn't happen whole i was creating a holo me. Which brings me on to the next issue, wierd mouse pointer scaling... When the screen zooms in on your face, the game just blows the screen up beyond your borders, so my mouse pointer was flying everywhere. I had to plug in a controller just to be able to navigate it easily... poor programing and just lazy.

The ship name and ID stuff works well enough, although on a corvette it was hard to tell where it was placing the decals. Now the fun begins i thought, let's hop in someones ship. I go searching for an open ship, nothing. I keep searching... Nothing. I search some more, it finds a player. Attempts to connect... .... ........... failure, could not connect. I sit and try this several more times, same result.

So fantastic work frontier, i applaud you. 6 Week's in beta and this is the best you could do... i'm not even sure why im suprised at this point.

After 10 more minutes of trying i finally managed to load into a ship. That connection lasted all but 2 minutes

If you've found bugs, report them in the bug reports forum. ing about them here will not get them solved. I've not experienced any of the issues you describe, but I did find (and report) two minor graphical glitches I encountered already, actually.

The one positive i can say so far is it sounds like the sounds got polished a little bit. I've noticed it mostly around your ships voice.

Add this to the list of things going wrong. I had the audacity of trying to close to the game. Then suddenly black screen and CPU error loop. This is on a 6700 i7 CPU

OH REALLY you think adding ECHO is cool. It is Crap. The audio is not Polished at all. As for Graphics. Well I have a 1080 and it works great but the detail has taken a serious backstep. Like you tried the multicrew Will noy bother again as a waste of time. Sorry FD not impressed at all.

Easy to moan however if you have specific issues Bug Report it, that's what its therefore, if you cannot be bothered stop whinging.
Have you considered the fault may not be with the game platform, there are NOT hundreds of similar complaints. So at this juncture there appears to be only you with this issue and while maybe valid and irritating for you, dose not make it a universal problem for everyone.
It may be that their ISP connection is cr*p or yours or both, lots of established long running MMOG have issues connecting folks from widely differing places.
