Elite / Frontier Another statistic

Hello everyone,

Just putting my name down to encourage the powers that be to hurry up..!

I've been an avid fan of the elite games (though I have been unable to play first encounters for a long time - computers have become more advanced and my IT skills have not)

any way i used to periodically check jades page, and now ive found this place - heres to enjoying the elite vibes, and to someone making E4 in our lifetimes!

yeah but it's FFE and not Frontier which I personally considered to be the better game.

Ah, then there is glfrontier.

Personally I'm undecided - Frontier is less unfinished (ship models, planetary systems, planets themselves are often pretty messed up in FFE), has spiffy curvy clouds, better lighting system, and so on, while FFE features better AI, handcoded missions, Journals, more equipment and doesn't split intercepting attackers when you're using stardreamer.
Actual terrain is also a definite plus of FFE, same with jordanian controls added in jFFE.
