Another terrible community goal

Another one sided goal in BV phoneticis. Everyone joining the same faction, a killstealing lagfest. I thought we would have something like lugh where there was incentive to join the opposing faction. Man this is terrible, I've almost lost all interest to play this game, and i really want to like it, but this same thing over and over again is old as hell.
 
Why not join a wing? I don't think you'd miss out on any combat bonds if you work with a team.
(Never did a conflict zone in a wing personally so may be wrong)
 
Let's hold out hope that manually injected community goals are just place-holder and AI generation of them will be enabled.

I don't see how they'll be able to keep up without them being generated by AI. With the exception of hand-crafted FD-driven story, there need to be CEs that are randomly generated.

Not only do they need to be random, they need to be plentiful, have different goals (some with opposition CEs with progressive tracks to follow based on who does what first), and they need to be spread out throughout the inhabited systems.
 
I have a wing, but the lag was terrible. Everyone was rubberbanding, some of us even saw ships the others didn't. It seemed like various instances were being smashed together. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be for PvP.
 
I agree, at the moment it feels like an unfinished and broken game, but i do love it and hope for better things to come....
 
We really need another Lugh.

The background story needs to start causing some large scale system conflicts that attract thousands of players for weeks at a time.

I think 1.3 is going to sort this.

This game is broken and every fun aspect that can be set in game is missing. Like you're in wing? You have to hit at least once ship to get bounty, why the hell? More fun would be to get share no matter what you do and let people coach their friends if they're not as good, if i find slacker, i'd kick him out but why should be someone punished for trying. Mile wide inch deep indeed. Very high potential, base of the game is very promising, but i'll return when this game will be less of a korean grindfest mmo.

To clarify: the game is 'inch deep' because you have to get at least one shot in to get your share of a bounty/bond? You are not 'punished for trying', you are simply not rewarded for not doing anything. :rolleyes:
 
Lugh worked better because there was so many places to get into a fight that the lag was bearable. That and the other goals going on for the opposition.
The bounty hunting CGs were good in the sense that if all else failed you could hit up signal sources. The one in Almad was better because it allowed you to go to surrounding areas as well as having a handful of res sites. They were both too short imo..
the lag however is the deal breaker for me forcing everyone into one system just kills things I don't want to play in solo to record one of these events for my channel but all of the rubber banding looks like rubbish when playing it back. That and it's infuriating to miss a kill on the conda because you were shooting in another direction, then you turn red because you hit a teammate that is now suddenly where the conda was..
they fix the lag and even the bad community goals will be more enjoyable.
 
If they setup these types of CG then there needs to be an opposing CG too. Do they think the guys on the receiving end would just sit back and let some one murder their friends?
