This is the build more or less. The empty slots are to fit the AX missile and Xeno Scanner. Next time i would replace the plasmas and canons with pulses.

I had luck with a focused class 4 PA, teamed with a long-range thermal vent beam laser fitted in the forward class-3 slot. Didn't even bother with the small hardpoints. Killing the shield was easy with that loadout, but sadly I ran out of missiles after nuking the 3rd heart. They suck at dodging, but I suck far worse with dumbfires.
I only had one HRP fitted, but also had G5 thermal resistant Reactive armor. By the time I left, I had 61% health and no more SCB charges. Good to see that adding more HRPs helps with that.
