Another Thargoid Thread

I thought I'd start my own thread on this since lots of others have :p.

If the Thargoids ever arrive,
Think we would be able to buy Thargoid ships and become Thargoids?..... I would be a Thargoid.

Will Thargoid Stations and Planetary Starports look the same as all the others?

P.S. Any idea on if the Thargoid Ships will be the same as in Frontier Elite 2? or will they have glass cockpits and look like a T9 crossed with an Anaconda and end up been called a Federal something or other with little or no manouverability and small hardpoints.

In Frontier: First Encounters if you do the Argent Quest mission story you actually will ended up with a thargoid ship.

So don't see why you wouldn't have a chance to in ED... but probably just not from buying it.

I have a feeling that Thargoids will appear overtly once multicrews, NPC crews and passenger cabins and travellers are introduced. Imagine a Thargoid co-pilot enhancing your ship's capability with Thargoid Science... :D

I think you might be able to salvage some tech when loot comes in but I do not think we will ever get a thargoid ship to own. At least not in the first couple years of their appearance.

Thargoids breathe ammonia, so you won't have one on your ship that isn't wearing an environment suit.

You won't ever be allowed to "become a thargoid". You might eventually be allowed to own or at least borrow a thargoid ship - presumably one with an Earth-normal atmosphere inside.
