I was just looking at the available ships, and thought I was crazy for thinking that the Beluga would be a solid contender.

Good to see that I was right - nice work.

Makes sense, pack a Beluga with HRPs and it's a pretty decent hull tank, and that's the quality you need for this - as well as loads of C2 hardpoints.

Monstrosity!

Am I the only one who finds this monstrous betrayal of the order of things deeply offensive?! Not only was a recent whale-watching trip strangely sullied by haunted memories of the combat Xorca, now its abuse of a Beluga to cruelly destroy a harmless creature / alien killing machine. If anything the beluga should rise up with the thargoids to confront its true oppressor: Man! #saveplanetearth I may admittedly find this less repulsive if I ever figure out how to kill a Thargoid with my python. meh. ;)

TBH, I would hardly call a heavy ship carrying 4 missile launchers, a plasma accelerator, 2 fighter bays and (as I know how much damage the thargon swarm can cause) I assume heavy armor and hull reinforcements a "Passenger ship". At much I would say it is a "very well disguised destroyer".

Anyway, great video and fight.
