Antal Utopia - The Enforcer Cannon. I love it. Amazing.

I've used it on an Eagle and jousted for fun. I use it on my stealth cobra. Now I have a couple fitted to my anacoda and I love it. Low power, nice tight firing pattern, range second to none and it has a hell of a punch. Stats blah blah DPS. DPS only count if you hit. Small ships get splatted, medium and big ships are an easy target. It sounds cool too.

Of weapons, which I've found enjoyable and practical, it's a winner. Nicely balanced FD. Off to crack some hulls :)

Has anyone else fallen for this top range multi cannon or had some experience using it? Id be really pleased to know what you found and configurations etc.

I just got access to the Enforcer yesterday (4 weeks with Utopia), but it is a nice weapon for sure. Fitted 3 of them to the Eagle. Lots of fun for sure. I even tested 6 of them on a Asp and that worked nicely against bigger vessels. Ammo is a problem for me thou, as all kinectic weapons. I like to stay out bounty hunting / undermining for long periods.

Havent tried them yet. Currently unpledged but might be back with Antal later. Always wanted to try them out though, would be great on the Federal Gunship!

I would probably use them. If they came in a medium version too. And gimballed. And without powerplay strings attached. :D

Moderate your fire. They are so unlike lasers. Stay on target and they will hit and hurt a lot. Dont fire off in to space. A couple of laser to help remove shields and your all smiles.

Also dueling in no shields eagles is sooo much fun

I will try a T6 Pirate lord hunter fun build with these cannons. :D

Stick a couple of lasers on to help with shields and you will be laughing. DOnt waste ammo firing in to space. They are so accurate there's very little reason to waste a shot.

I'm sorry.. Is this a Cannon with 600 ammo? If so, I may need to join just for that since I tend to use Cannons. If only Frags had a faction variant with increased ammo...

Bah never mind, it's a multi-cannon I guess.

Join and give it a go. I use all cannons and this with a couple of laser to help strip the hull. You can always give all the PP weapons a try without getting caught up in Power play.

How so? You need 1000 merits and 4 weeks of pledge right?

4 weeks pledged (just a matter of waiting), and 750 merits. You don't need those merits the whole time; you can just wait until you've satisfied the pledge requirement, then bust out those merits in a day or two. 750 is actually quite easy to get via undermining. Think it's 30 merits per appropriate npc killed. Shakes out to killing like, 25 ships.

Yea I know, I was with Arissa for 16 weeks. I'll think about it.. Not really in a Power Play mood atm. :)

I like the Enforcer cannon, but I'm not overly enthusiastic.

I've put them on an Asp -> 2 medium beam lasers and 4 Enforcer cannons. Needless to say this setup chews up hull like there's no tomorrow.

Just get your targets lined up and keep your trigger finger in check and you are golden. It being a fixed weapon, getting your targets lined up might not be the easiest thing to do though.

New favorite setup with 2xEnforcers on the Imperial Eagle combined with a C2 Fixed beam. This module is my absolute favorite in-game weapon!

We have the cooking laser. Today it very drains your capacitor whilst heading up your own ship. It does nothing, NOTHING, to any other ship. When it first came out we bug reported it and Fdev said it was working as intended. I love Fdev, but this was just rubbish.

Apparently in 2.1 it actually works as originally intended.
