The system PMD2009 48 has recently come under siege from anti-Aegis terrorists. It is unclear, but believed, these may be additional Azimuth agents seeking to disable the Aegis Research vessel 'The Archimedes'. We suspect this is a plot for Azimuth to prevent the ship from aiding Seo Jin-ae and Professor Tesreau, should they need aid. These terrorists have unfortunately been disguising their work as 'helping the local population' while hurting innocent civilians in their efforts.
This is not the first time that sleeper agents have worked to sabotage Aegis from both the outside, and within the organization. Aegis scientists and researchers have been working with, and assisting, the local area during their time in the sector. The remaining hard working team at Aegis continues to endure slander against their hard work and effort .
Aegis scientists and researchers have remained in the system since late last year. They have been waiting for an official recall as Aegis has been winding down operations. The Archimedes remained in the sector after failing to prevent Azimuth from collecting a majority of the guardian technology from the Guardian-Thargoid battle site in Trapezium Sector YU-X c1-2. The Aegis team remained there to continue studying and researching the location for further clues, and information, that may aid humanity.
In the last few months, the Orion Tourist Board's corporate mistreatment of their employees, led to the local system residents to seek assistance from the Aegis Research team. Local residents had been treated like slaves and property, instead of people, by the Orion Tourist Board. The incident that ignited this tension was when a rich tourist by the codename "Mr. Rademocker" was allowed to 'pay extra' so they could open an airlock on a hotel housekeeper, who was pleading for her life. Aegis Research was able to help bring equality through the team in our cooperative, and helped the people of the system.
That is until a few weeks ago when the Save Space Party forcefully captured a facility from the Orion Tourist Board's remaining facilities. Terrorist attacks them started against Aegis Research and the Orion Tourist Board. This escalated into a demanded rigged 'election' by these same individuals. An election that appears to have been won by additional illegal and terrorist activity.
This anti-Aegis terrorist group have current forced remaining Aegis scientists and researchers back to protect The Archimedes. ReForge Aegis supporters are enroute to assess the situation and to advise the team if the ship should be relocated to potentially safer territory.
Any Aegis supporters, please be advised to stay vigilant for these Pro-Azimuth, anti-Aegis detractors. They appear to be working with dark forces inside the human bubble and have tied to some dark military/industrial complexes. ReForge Aegis supporters will keep attempting to protect Aegis assets, but our top priority is the protection of Seo Jin-ae, professor Tesreau, and aiding the engineers Ram Tah and professor Palin.
