There's a lot of moaning at the minute about griefers coming to wreck people's fun. 2nd to banninng them, we need a way to deal with them. So I came up with this:
A cyber-weapon fitted to all ships as stock as a core internal. What it does is if you are attacked by a player with an (upcoming) Pilot's Federation bounty who hasn't pressed a "Demand Cargo" button and given 10 seconds to comply, the weapon hacks the griefer's power plant, causing it to self destruct and send the player to the rebuy screen. In case the player was an honest pirate who messed up, there would be a "I am not a griefer." button, that submits footage of the player's last 5 minutes of gameplay to Frontier. If they are a pirate, they get refunded thier rebuy, if they are a griefer, they don't.
