General Anti-Xeno (npc) Pilots are a HUGE PROBLEM.

Something needs to be done will the useless Npc pilots that populate Thargoid combat zones. Thay contribute little to the over all battle, and if you're unlucky enough to bump one thats hanging on by a thread, and it blows up. You get fined. I can't count the amount of times I've fired a shot at a bug just to have a AX pilot intercept it mid flight, granting me a fine. This, really needs to be looked at. it's an egregious inconvenience, espcially when the nearest Intersteller factor is dumb far away.

Sounds like someone need to work on their situational awareness. I’ve yet to have enough stray shots land on an NPC to receive a fine.

I have had one following me around a dead Titan for an hour shooting at me because they’ve received enough shots to aggro, but AX weapons cause next to no damage so you’ve got to hit them a lot to cause enough damage for a fine.
This is not true.

I find them pretty useful, especially if you're there just to try and gather materials.

Firstly, when Thargoids would show up, they'd keep said Thargoid occupied to leave me to my own devices.

Secondly, when in my "I'm just here trying to look for Titan Components for a few hours" build and picking up Meta Alloys etc, Wanted NPCS can be a nuisance.
Wanted NPC tries it on, I run away, turn around and all 70 bajillion AX Pilots are smashing bad guy Anaconda into pieces like they're my over-protective big brothers and sisters.
As an aside, it's also hilarious when two Wanted NPCs start fighting eachother and the T7's are constantly repairing them. 🤣

Thirdly, by the time I've spent a few hours in an instance and not found the one thing I was looking for, there's so many AX Pilots at this point that if a Thargoid did appear, I feel like this amount might actually do something against one.

Not talking about titan sites. Go to cali nebula, I promise you, you'll rack a fine for being bumped or shot blocked. I've farmed that local for weeks, last night was my breaking point.

I've rarely experienced what you're talking about, and I find them to be quite helpful, myself. The difference they make in exerting interceptors is quite impactful. In many cases I can just run around killing hearts they've already exerted!
