We know the Xeno Scanner needs help, but about some of the other systems. Like the EMCS, Point Defense Turrets, the Advanced Missile System (AMS) and the Advanced Multi-Cannons (AMC).
The EMCS and the Point Defense Turrets at present have no effect on Thargoid missiles.
How about making gimble and/or turret mounted versions of the AMS and AMC?
At present there are no Class 4 weapons systems for use against the Thargoids.

Nah That was for Enhanced AX Missiles and Multi-Cannons.

The Enhanced system are only effective against Thargoid vessels, whereas for the Advanced systems can be used against both Human and Thargoid vessels. The downside to the weapon systems is that you have to synthesize the ammo to use them against Thargoids vessels. Unlike the Experimental weapons there is no limitation on how many of the Advanced systems you can carry.
