Not for me, at least I don't think so. The main consideration for me is the fun factor,is just playing going to be fun. If I have to try hard to find things to do or find interesting, then it will be less fun. I'm expecting a complex but not complicated game that will be fairly easy to slip in to and learn as you play. I never really played Frontier or First Encounters, due to being in forin places at the time, so for me this is really Elite 2.
My only real real concern is network issues and the whole P2P thing. I imagine it will work in that as far as our computers are concerned we are playing a solo online game that just so happens to have other players in it.. so that if and when people drop off nothing bad happens to the network. Others have mentioned packet or package security, beyond me but still is there a risk? Or is it going to be possible to hack the game locally and effectively cheat?
There you have it, as long as the game play isn't broken I'm good. Aslong as the networking works and there can't be any cheaters I'm H.A.P.P.Y.
