Engineers Antimony, where art thou?

I am having great difficulty finding Antimony. With all the other materials I've needed, I just follow the map and will come across it eventually (since we can now see what materials are found where), but for the life of me I can't find any antimony.

I am currently on a planet that has a 1.0% chance of spawning the stuff (which is the best I've found so far), and have been driving around for about six hours over the better part of two days. Can't find any. I've been blowing up outcrops, bronzite, meteorites, etc, no dice.

Anyone have any tips on this stuff? Any good locations?

Metallic Meteorites, Mesosiderites, (Metallic) Outcrops in that order.

Betelgeuse 3 has 1.4%
Czerno 1 has 1.2%
Czerno 3 a has 1.2%
HIP 60459 2 c has 1.5%
Acrux 9 has 1.4%

I moved to Oyas 1 F, and found a metallic meteorite that blew up into 3x chunks of antimony within 5 minutes to deploying my SRV and dismissing my ship.

Praise be to RNGesus.

Pretty much all minerals can be found at Eta Draconis, either planet A4 or A7. I have a hauler parked at on of the stations there and use it to pop down to the planet surfaces to gather mats as I don't always have an SRV hanger on my ships :D

I got all mine from that Anaconda wreck that had a UA nearby. Is it still there? There was a cargo rack with the antimony in it. each time you logged out, the UA and cargo rack came back again so that you could harvest more materials. I got about 30 Antimony in about 40 minutes from it.

Metallic meteorites from my understanding.

there is a crashed ship on orrerre i think that had antimony in it when i salvaged from it.

its persistant, exact co-ordinates to follow. take a small ship (i was in an adder) as terrain is rough for landing a big one

edit

Orrere 2B and there you have a good chance of finding some good stuff.

coordinates (43.8122, -173.9722)

i got antimony and 2 things i had never heard of before.

Use eddb.io, go to bodies, and do a search where you enter the material you want in the material finder. I also filter for only pristine reserves systems and landfall planetary bodies. Then you can order the results by occurrence (percentage of drop). I also try to find the closest body to my home base, with a decent distance from the star.

That's how I optimize finding rarer materials.

I was at HIP71862-6a the alien crashed ship site, I found 6 chunks of Antimony in about 40 mins or so I was on the planet , and chromium lots of it , and not forgetting the phase alloys from the wreckage .

Kongi on the 1st planet. Eventually found 18 bits. I think each fragment was 3 bits. Finally getting the hang of surface mining. Still can't see the point of it.
