Antique Log Flume end too small/short + fixes

These end drop are totally unrealistic, we should be able to resize it. In real life the boats would simply crash into the water.

Another suggestion: be able to make smaller pieces when using chain lifts, 8 meters is too much.
Also, chain speed isn't working. It's always stuck to 8km/h, even if I set a higher/slower velocity.

This is so true. I've wanted to include some water rides in my current park, but they're so unrealistic. For instance, the flipping turntables for log flumes, the bump before free falling into water splash tracks, the absolute visual torture that are the water effects, the splash effects always being the same size regardless of entry speed variation, and the list goes on. It's a shame that these are so flawed when the water visuals outside of water rides is stunning. Oh, I almost forgot, you can't also change the height of water coaster elevators, what an absolute disgrace. Don't get me wrong, the game is beautifully crafted, but the flaws it has are game breaking tbh.

Log flumes are flagged since Planco 1. And they just copied and pasted 🤡

Sadly, it's always been like this. When you compare photos of log flumes against the game's version, you can clearly see the proportions are completely different. The in-game boats look "bigger" than their real counterparts, when measuring up to the troughs. The game trough and boat sizes need to be revisited. I wish they'd remove the mini-lift at the beginning of each "drop". Most real flumes have air gates before drops, which come up either from the bottom of the trough, or they swing in from the side(s) to separate and stop boats to pace them at a safe distance down the chute.

I'm hoping they give log flumes (and river raft rides) some TLC and address the physics and the overall look in a future update or new DLC. I'd love to see one of the rare "Hydro-Flume" boats with the twin-drop and jump/hop at the bottom for kicks too, and round table stations would be a huge plus!

Was water in rapids rides better in RCT3? Did waterfalls actually have an effect on guests? In PC2 water does have an effect in pools and on water slides. But the other water rides like water coasters, rapids, and log flumes seem to have the 2D water from PC1. But, if you make a small lake, put water in it, and put a water coaster in it does the splashdown affect riders then? When you go underwater and back up in a lake (not a swimming pool) it has the same effect as pools where the water temporarily splashes your screen.

I really hope they release a future update addressing this for all the water rides, and more customized angled drops. Especially for the log flumes

Antique log flume is a useless mess - it's really pathetic. The other log flumes are not much better. The classic log flume is probably my very favorite ride to construct and they are just to limited in a bad way in this game. At the very least, let us control the speed of the water in the channel -- it's too damned slow. This goes all the way back to the original RCT - logs just CRAWL through a layout. Even the most basic inclusion of physics would be a game saver. If it's sloping downward let it build up speed and don't make it slow down instantly and so as it's not going down hill. Logs come to a near complete stop.

Frontier clearly didnt grasp the full potential of water rides and water effects. They went such a long way to add flumes and waterpark stuff, but on the other hand completely ignored trying to provide any „upgrade“ to water coasters and water fx like waterfalls and such.
I realy cant stand that we still have these fx pieces who look like a game from 2010… they also dissapear the closer you get to them and in dark you cant even see these effects anymore. the rafting ride could have been expanded on with more track pieces, allow us to set the water canal speed or simply give us more realistic track pieces.
But no. It reminds me of the famous german line by andreas: „HIER BLEIBT ALLES SO WIE ES IST“…
