Anton Schwarzkopf Steel Looping roller coaster

Sorry for the long post.

It would be very awesome if Frontier would include Anton Schwarzkopf's Steel Looping roller coaster in Planet Coaster.
I love Anton's roller coasters, in Sweden where I live we had Lisebergsloopen(Looping Star) 1980-1995.
I rode that coaster so many times, it's one of the best roller coaster I've been on. It would be so cool to build it in Planet Coaster.

Anton Schwarzkopf is considered to be the most pioneering, innovative and influential roller coaster engineer and designer of all time.
His roller coaster still today brings great joy and happiness to many and hopefully to Planet Coaster too.

Here are some links where you can read about Anton Schwarzkopf and his roller coasters.

I second this. This is one of the things that bothers me most about Planet Coaster. I mean COME ON, this coaster-type was in RCT3. A game Frontier also developed.

In general the game lacks regular looking coasters. Family Coasters especially. I can't stand that octopuss-Alien thingy junior coaster. What about regular ones like Vekoma Rollerskaters, their line of Non-Looping Coasters ? (Vogel Rok, Night Hawk...)

When will they add these coasters (closed circuit and shuttle mode)? [bored] One year and half passed since topic started and still nothing.

So, very good that you've found this post. I'd love to see one or two of Schwarzkopf lopping coasters in PC!!!

Who else?

Yeah, Schwarzkopf is the highest thing on my list right now. I could see them adding a "Midway/Fair" DLC with some flats and the Schwarzkopf coasters (along with the shuttle variant). Hopefully they would come with the option to switch track styles between Revolution's Intamin-type track and the classic Schwarzkopf track.

This classic coaster type is a real must have for Planet Coaster! IMO this - and also a bobsled and powered coaster - should be offered in a free update. ;)

Come on, Frontier. Schwarzkopf was a legendary coaster designer, he made Shuttle Loop, Looping Star, and Jumbo Jet. But you decided to forget that guy?

Please put Schwarzkopf Coasters like Jumbo Jet, Shuttle Loop, Looping Star, and Whizzer to Planet Coaster game, Frontier.

I hope Frontier will hear and talked about Schwarzkopf Coaster in Planet Coaster.

it's one of the best roller coaster I've been on

Oh you should try Oziris in Parc Asterix whenever you come to France. Your definition of best coaster will be redefined :D

But to stay on topic yeah they should add this steel looping coaster. It's a roller coaster tycoon classic.

I don't get it, we already have steel coasters with loops, and coasters like boomerang allow backwards travel.. The name "Anton Schwarzkopf" sounds like a brand, not a technology or physical characteristic. Personally I'd like a Coca-cola drinks shop because the "Planco Soda" is just not the same!

Umm... Are you kidding? Surely you know who Anton Schwarzkopf was. He designed countless coaster types and his work with the Intamin company on all sorts of flat ride designs was crucial to the evolution of the amusement industry. He was literally one of the cornerstones of the amusement industry... The other probably being Arrow.

Schwarzkopf is only responsible for making the transportable steel-coaster popular with the Wild-Cat. He´s only responsible for building the first high-speed coasters with heavily banked curves with his Bobsled, Jumbo-Jet and Speed-Racer models.
He´s only responsible for building the first, functioning, modern Looping coaster!
If you say Looping Coaster, you think Schwarzkopf. Not having rides in PlanCo that resemble (and honour) one of the greatest names in Rollercoaster history is actually quite sad.

Actually, many of Schwarzkopf's coasters have a pretty distinct visual appearance (see some of the images above). Given that so many of Planco's rides are based off of "real" manufacturers (compare the in-game Rival with an inverted coaster designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, or the American Arrow and Arrow Dynamics' corkscrew coasters), its surprising that we don't have a mode resembling Schwarzkopf's coasters.

Frontier put a lot of detail and attention on getting the coasters to seem "real," so its surprising to me that there isn't an in-game design referencing them. We have track styles/cars for vary rare rides such as S&S's "Free Fly" model (only one of which exists in real life if I remember correctly), but nothing resembling a ride manufactured by Schwarzkopf, of which dozens and dozens exist and still operate today. One of the most notable omissions is a "shuttle loop" coaster, where a car launches out of the station, goes through a loop, and then, and comes back (similar to a boomerang but a little bit different as there isn't a lift hill dragging the car out the back). Those rides take up a very small footprint and are still very fun and pretty smooth. It helps being able to build realistic parks because a Schwarzkopf could represent an older, "established" ride that has been operating since the park opened. To do accurate recreations of Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags over Texas, Knotts Berry Farm, Hersheypark, and many other popular parks, one needs a Schwarzkopf steel looping rollercoaster.

Not everyone who plays this are super into actual parks, know anything about the history, nor necessarily care as that's not why they play. No need to be condescending about it. Educating those of us who don't know is fine, but the sarcasm isn't really necessary and is kind of off-putting.
