I'm starting to miss my Clipper from the GPP days, but last night I spent like 3 hours just doing classified data delivery missions out of Tamar, and I only went from 25% to 31%... That's far too slow for me, lol. Any mission types I should be looking out for? Or specific systems? I did a 1,500,000cr smuggling mission 5 systems out of Cubeo this morning, but it didn't even give me 1% towards Knight.
Any advice for getting from Squire to Baron in a timely fashion?

Charity, Nef. Do all the Charity. They give the most percentage and they're as easy as BB missions get.
There used to be places that gave a ton of Charity missions but they either got nerfed or the economy of those systems got better. Either way keep doing what you're doing but look out for Charity missions.

I just started grinding Empire in Cubeo earlier today, and have played on and off. I'm currently Master, largely due to the charity missions. There's 4 or 5 stations that give charity missions in Cubeo, so I would go to each one in Open, log out, and come back in Solo. Most of the time I got new charity missions but a few times I didn't.
Add some nice courier missions in between and it's been pretty easy going so far. I may not pursue the Clipper...I really wanted the Courier and now I have it

I used to do charity missions, that's how I got to Ensign and Squire before, but Fdev nerfed charity missions, and they almost never appear now. Or atleast, they haven't for the last few months, and nobody on reddit or here can find any new charity systems.

Should have seen Cubeo before. 15-20 charity missions per Open/Solo login per station. You could easily jump an entire rank in 15 minutes. im arround summerland (quivira is nice with 5 empire factions)

I've just fitted a small ship (I was getting bored of my Python) for assassination missions. There was a system near Cubeo that had like 7 of them for the nearby systems. Might try doing some of those to decrease the grind feeling.
When I was ranking to baron about 2 months ago I was around cubeo or tamar doing classified data delivery missions, missions where you have to travel around 25ly+ to deliver usually give a few percent rise between 2-5%, and doing any charity missions I came across which wasn't many, the odd one here and there even the fabled stations that people swear by gave me only 1 or none, so FD must have tweaked it since then

Travel to Tamar and wuru. They have a lot of donation missions. I'm working my baron rank aswell and that seems to work. I'm pretty sure most of the missions in robigo are for empire aswell. Anything under medium rep is not worth your time.
Ive solely been doing the Robigo missions to rank up, CDE CORP only, its the only faction in Robigo with Empire Allegiance. Im currently at 55% baron and going for the cutter. Regarding Reputation and influence, i thought it was the Influence rating that ranked you up? rep is just for reputation ?

I found that hitting Cubeo and running between Whittle, Weaver, and Medupe for charity missions got me to Duke rank. ( Not as fast as Federal rank but still...)
I am trying to do the same thing, and I feel like I have been suck on Lord for months now. I tried Fehu, but that can get frustrating when you stack up some missions and someone scans you while you are getting gas at an outpost. 
It is hard to find charity missions. Most times switching back from open to solo results with the same missions on the BB.
I suggest do whatever is fun. Yes it might take longer but at least you'll enjoy it

I found that finding another game to play in between the lulls helps...
I hope I remember this for when I get back.

Seriously though, does any PP faction give increased Rep gains when you do BB missions in their system, even if you're not with them? Aisling?
I think Aisling does, but don't quote me on that.
