Any black holes that are arrival stars?

Topic. Other than Sag A. Can't seem to get any good research/data on this from the web, and every hole I identify on the gal map is always another star.

I have found systems using where the black hole is extremely close to the arrival star, and has neutrons in the system, etc...but so far no dice on a BH arrival.

Unrelated, does anyone know of a BH other than Sag A with a decent radius?

Just be careful when actually arriving at one - they are invisible and you drop out very close (at least it used to be the case) so it's really easy to hit the exclusion zone.

If you are in the neighborhood of the galactic dome, dive under the galactic plain for a couple of hundred ly until your reach layers of neutron stars. Between them, there are lots of black holes as well.

Also try playing in Codex. For example, I'm confirming entries and was looking to confirm a particular type of Wolf Rayet star. Seeing as they are pretty rare I thought it easier to head to the reported entry in the Codex and the second it took me to the galactic map, poof, black hole listed as primart star (2 birds one stone)!

Not the quickest way by any means, but there's a lot more info available ingame than there used to be

I had no idea the things you all brought up were that known. The Codex is also not a bad idea, but it won't guarantee a drop-in/arrival star. Thanks again.

This is encouraging to hear. I have not been near the core yet. I am familiar with filtering the galaxy map in non-sequence and looking for them by rotating the camera, etc.

My trouble thus far has been that the ones I've chosen to jump to using the GalMap(tm) are not the actual arrival stars.

I will press on!
