Any chance of shared bounty rather than last hit gets the money?

Currently the "last hit on a target gets the bounty" rule makes Co-op bounty hunting not viable.

It would be better if you received a percentage of the bounty based on the amount of damage you did to the opponent (like kill assist points in Battlefield 4)

then you could all go bounty hunting and share the profits based on who was the best shot, not just the luckiest!

Would also mean those feds getting the last shot wouldn't steal all of your bounty.

Can someone from FD please provide a response?

Well they did alleviate NPC kill stealing a bit in the latest patch, but unless you're in a party I think it should be fair game to any player. But it should be split proportionally if you are in a party which will hopefully be added soon.

The next change to that system is planned to come with wings where the wing which gets in the killing shot shares the bounty. The "last shot" approach is supposed to remain for the foreseeable future.

Apart from that, today's patch apparently makes AI less prone to "kill stealing".

Yeah I'm glad today's patch should reduce NPCs stealing kills (bloody kids!)

But I'd still like to go hunting big game with a few friends and not having to worry about splitting the bounty by buying goods to jettison. I guess if the wings thing splits the bounty then its most of the way there for me.
