Greetings, I bought the EDtracker a little while ago, and I am having a couple of issues I need some advice on the main one being I cannot get it past the automatic bias setting.
I have the latest GUI 4.05 and the latest Arduino drivers , all set through my last spare comms (9) usb.
I successfully flashed the drive, then when I connect to the head tracker it starts to perform the bias check , and it just sits there, the green bar going across the box...I’ve watched several videos that show this should only take like 20 seconds, for me I’ve sat there 10 minutes before I gave up....yet again [blah]
I’m getting really frustrated with it.
Secondly I noticed on a particular video that showed the in game setting up , they bound the look up and down and the look right look left binds to the appropriate joystick binds, it worked for them , but is this correct ?, I’m using a T16000M HCS binds file for VA and my pitch up/down and my yaw movements are bound to the joystick.
So how would the game know the difference? Surely if I did this the headlook would be fixed to the joystick, when I know it shouldn’t be, I’ve searched for help videos to no avail, I’ve watched tutorials, im not even at the stage where I alter the ingame settings, but getting anxious because It sounds to my nooby technophobe mind that I’m doing it all wrong.
Can any kind Cmdr throw me a lifeline and give me a clue of what I should be doing here
