Any general interest in ship miniatures for ED?

Sigh, that's 2 games with iconic ship designs that seemingly are determined to fail to take my money in exchange for more of such goods.

It's a breach of the KS backer rewards if it is and a reason to claim some other form of compensation considering the backer level was £500 and up. I would be asking for the difference in money value between the levels that got the models as part of the reward and those that would not. If memory serves that would be around £200 at the MINIMUM.
Assuming a backer at that level sees this thread I think it's important to clarify if this has happened or not.
Edit: Interesting - the KS backer rewards does not now show 3d model as a reward.....
If the KS backer didn't take part in the DDF and only backed at £500 to get the model then the difference between when they paid for and what they got is £400.
I'm not surprised anymore by the underhanded business ethics FDev has displayed.

I think the only thing this shows is how far 3D printing has to go yet in its developement. Like VR, impressive to think it is printing 3D models, but...........!
Die-cast miniatures for me. Got 7 ships (in-game) now and would buy a model for each.

What I know about 3D printing, you could write on the head of a pin and still have room for a couple of Drew Wagar novels... But I'd love a Cobra Mk III, retro or modern, for my bookshelf. Totally iconic, at least to me 
If FDev put some ship minis on sale, I'd definitely dig out my wallet.
