So.... I started the game and my favorite system was Godzinko Ring... It literally had EVERYTHING. It had most A Rating fitting equipment, it had a large span of ships (excluding some Medium ships, Large ships, and the Eagle but the only ship I had to venture to get was the Eagle since I couldn't afford the 80 bazillion million credit ships).
So then I bought a Viper and slaved over bounties and station missions in that area... Then up and went to Sol when I was prompted to do so, so I've been in and around Sol for the past few days and the stations all seem to ... we... "SUCK". They are all hit or miss where some stations will only have 2% fitting options, or stations will have only 1-3 ships that are either 80 bazillion credits or something cheap that I don't want.
So.... Here's the question:
Are there any decent stations in the Sol system or any system directly one jump from the Sol system? I have came fond of Mars High because it's beautiful and seems to be the only unique station I've seen but the fitting options are as poor as [explicit content] with a homeless guy with mouth wash. So far I'm just trying to get my new ship fitted with B-C rated items or some A rated items maybe. And I'm also looking for Mining Lasers, but for the past 10 stations I've been at, none of them have any Mining Lasers. So...... What the phook chunook is this?
Also... Do modules for different ships have different stats? For instance an A rated Power Distributor would give my Viper 24.000 to weapons for instance, but for an Adder it's only around 16.000.
