I’ve researched this til I’m blue in the face and there doesn’t seem to be a consensus. Senones, Gliese 3187 and Frog were popular but then either ED devs nerfed LTDs from those systems or they got drained. Anyone done and Ltd piracy lately and willing to share the system where I might have some joy?
Any good systems left for piracy and LTDs?

BOOM or NONE applied... is required this is why False reports are generated of failure...
Also Correct Full named systems is needed... Gliese 3897 B you got the wrong name on one system above...
There is also anarchy ship at Station raiding which takes place in none of those systems listed as well...

Many thanks!! So I need boom or none as state but what do you mean by anarchy ships at station raiding? Can we raid stations now? I’ve only picked it ED again recently so Don’t know what’s new.

I tried this today as I'd never done it before, the targets never carry LTDs. It's usually other minerals or metals. How do you actually get LTDs?
I watched some guides and it didn't say specifically but, I've tried these systems above and other Anarchy Industrial/Agricultural (High Tech). In boom or none.

You only pull over ships wirh refinery on them at the bottom of their equipment list, if looking for LTD, you dont touch the other classes unless you just dont care and pick up any stuff... (me)
Super cruse take down only systems... No rings in system and industry only economy
Frog is not on correct state... it has civil liberty not boom or none only... Ignore frog..
Gliese 3897 B is in single state of none so will in time spit out a ship for super cruse only take downs.. Not station take downs, but boom would give more ships
Out side Station raiding only systems... Has rings, mixed economy but stations are industry.

Hr 108 state =Boom (Current best state, Check every incoming to station ship...)
Do not raid controlling station faction ship out side the station, they will not like it... with full force reaction to it...
Due to Frogs status use the same builds but now in Gliese 3897 B

I am not a pirate, or much of a miner since VO's kind of went away price wise. However, you might want to try the system I am in now, has LOTS of LTD Hot Spots, as well as VO and tons of other mining spots on many planets (Rings) in this system. It's LHS 28. Worth checking out, if I were a Pirate and just looks to be a great mining location, at least in the shear number of "HotSpots" for many minerals.
Valac has always been spot on for me- never had a problem getting LTDs there. There's a slight drawback though...
Ok quick update from me. Went to HR 108, which had correct criteria and both interdicted and station raided a number of T6-T9s with refineries at the bottom. Only 1 (out of 20) had Ltds. Is this the normal hit rate? Thanks for the tut vids too - watched them and Pleasingly seem to be doing a good job of bump stppping at least
Not the correct setting for Interdiction only raiding at station... at HR 108... HR 108 has multi incorrect economies so pulling out of super cruse runs normal Random drop tables on every ship...
Every ship at stations from Cobras to python needs to be checked not just cargo runners...

Thanks. Finally having some success although it still takes a while to find targets. Managed a t7 with 100 or so ltds but the price has substantially dropped from what I remember it to be a year ago. Sold them for 142k each at HR 108... I know i could’ve traveled and maybe gotten 250 but couldn’t be bothered. If there was somewhere selling for 500k+ on the BM then yes, but doesn’t seem to be

Any single sale of clean LTD will crash both markets... Selling Stolen does not crash the price at stations for markets...
Yep it can be stupidly easy at the station, you arrive want to set the ship up, get fuel, and collectors but doing so means you miss the.....
T7 thats right out side with 100+ LTD in hold argh..

ICE ring mining Is even more Tedious after the July 2020 NUKE.. those in the know no longer do it as Rocky pays more. Only numb nuts ice ring mine now for fun...
