I know for traders you want to keep sources of rare items secret, but what are some of the more well-known ports for equipping, buying ships, etc?

One of the best ports in Empire space for purchase and outfitting of ships is Walter's Port in the Condovichs system. It doesn't show on the system map yet, but once you enter the system, you find it under your navigation contacts.

13 different ships and not all, but plenty of modules and weapons available.

BTW: Rare commodities are not held secret, there are several threads on this forum disclosing as much information about them as is currently available in game.

cool, thanks, I'm still degbating between a anaconda or a FDL as my first upgrade... probably wait until the prices drop, the FDL is definitely going to stretch my budget at current prices.

I'm in Vulcan system, any decent ports near there?
I looked up condovichs system on the galaxy map, I don't see any ports, is it listed?
