Any happy soul running an all (or just) a T-Ship career?

I won't bore you with my ship junky background and my constant buying and selling of ships or a quest to, maybe, run a one ship career. Attempting to be "practical" I did a recent fleet purge of all my Lakons and a Cobra Mk III (again) and am currently running just an A-rated Anaconda with a never used A-rated Python parked. The Anaconda is a great and practical ship.

But a ship junky is never happy about his ships. Especially when said junky is a Lakon T-Ship fanboi.

So I have to ask: Any happy and contented soul here running an advanced career in just a T-Ship or the series in general? Just because you want too?

While I do have a fleet of 8 or 9 ships of all makes, I do enjoy Lakons. I trade in a Type-9 (which I prefer to the Anaconda) and explore in the Keelback. I love them both.

The Type-9 has the best cockpit in Elite, IMO. Fantastic detailing.

I will happily spend most of my time in the T9 when I get back to to the bubble one day alltough I will use non lakon ships too. Mostly because they don't make the dropship :D

I'm a Lakon fan too. My favorite trading ship is the Type-9.

My overall favorite is my heavily engineered AspX, with a max jump range of 56+ lyrs (when stripped for exploring). In the bubble, it gets 35-45+ lyrs, depending on cargo and outfitting.

I've been using a Type-6 for more than an year. Mainly because I haven't been much active. I will be finally upgrading in a few days though - to a Type-7. I explore while space trucking. Not a very profitable way of playing, I know. But filling the supply and demand while hauling propaganda material for Aisling Duval is my life here ever since PP came out. This week I tried to help the empire. Made my way to Maia, only to find out about the Lockdown too late. Unprepared and unwilling to do combat in my Type-6, I simply decided to explore around while making my way back to AD space. I shall not use a Lakon ship to spill blood. That wouldn't be happiness.

Lakon makes the budget transport and exploration ships. So I should be a happy Lakon customer for much longer (still got the Type-9 before considering what's next).

Excellent Cmdr's!
Glad to see we have some purveyors of true taste and dignity here. Anyone can fly but few can really fly.
Takes a special breed to face the Galaxy in a Lakon - it must! You have such a great view of it. :D

EDIT: Okay inspired by you gentlemen I have sold the Python and replenished the Lakon fleet. T9, T7, T6, and cousin AspX. Even went with A-rated engines as kind of a experiment. Normally go D on the 7 and 9 for weight savings (+jump range).
No more ship threads...promise.
