any kind cmndr have some ship suggestion?

If you want to trade, you need a Type-7 next. If I were you I would strip the viper of any parts worth anything, trade in the T-6 and invest in a a T-7. I wouldn't buy it however unless you have about 27 mil net worth though (you can see your net worh under statistics, it includes the price of you ship) you need to have A class thrusters, A class shields and a Shield Cell Bank, and preferably an A class Power Distributor, plus the money to pay insurance AND money to fill your cargo hold. I was making at leat 3 million/hour with my T-7, try trading in Supercoductors if you can find them cheap <6200 cr (Refinery systems that AREN'T also high tech).

Fairly positive you don't need most of those things to trade effectively in a T7. An A-rated shield generator with some shield boosters and a B or A rating FSD will do you nicely, along with 216 tonnes of cargo space. :)

It's up to you, I like to be safe from anything, including cmdr's, so I usually don't buy a trade ship until I can really upgrade it.

I love all the support the community is giving me, that's really impressive.

Thanks all, again, for all the advices. I have already an idea to what to do, but really, to analize all your advices will take some time. Be sure that AntodenA will update you as soon as possible about the next step in his career :) And as Commander POIDSLY would say: FAIR WINDS to all of You fellow Commanders!

Also remember, there's no right or wrong answer. Don't be afraid to try out different ships and see what you like and don't like. For example, a lot of people love the Clipper, however i really don't like it. Spend a bit of time in as many as possible. Sure you lose 10% of resale, but that doesn't matter in the long run.

Whenever you buy a new ship make sure you have at least 1.5x the base cost of the ship in order to do minimal upgrades and still have enough for insurance and cargo. A maxed out ship will be about 5x the base cost.

Yeah, hadn't come up against anything too tough when I said that. Had an NPC Vulture drop my shields and take my hull to 50%, so I might've spoken too soon.

So I'm probably gonna upgrade to an A-rated Power Plant and drop 16 tonnes of cargo space for a shield cell bank.

Yeah, I totally agree with the vast majority... Asp is the way to go for sure... And don't worry about maxing it... Buy it and prioritize what your needs are for modifications and go from there to max it out... It will for sure be you're stepping stone as you do so.

just a thought... I've never kept a ship in storage... Feel its a total waste of credits just sitting there... If you are definitely going to be trading to get your cash, then you won't be needing all the other ships in the garage... Meaning... I would definitely sell all the modifications, downgrade all the modifications that can't be sold to the most minimal modification, then sell the ship(s) you aren't using to invest into making you're asp more comfortable. As they have stated it is the most versatile ship and you can't beat the jump range which is perfect for rares.

500k cr/h. If you want a suggestion, I'd say pick up a Vulture. 4mil base price and it'll take about 6-7mil to fully fit.
A-rated, you can easily make 1Mil cred/h in a CZ, or even more if you're rank 2 or 5 aligned with one of the bounty bonus powers.

If you still want to trade, an Asp is a real jack of all trades. Great jumprange, decent cargo capacity, loads of guns. Shields are a tad weak, but the armour is pretty decent and you have enough power and internals for a decent SCB. I've hunted bounties, mined, explored and traded in it.
After that, the Python is a great ship, just don't expect it to turn on a dime. Very capable in combat. I've mined in it too and it's got a massive cargo hold for a multirole, easily on par with the Type 7.

Another +1 for the Asp. Fully stripped you can get 128T, or even with A3 sheilds 120T (now consider a T6 fully stripped is 112T). Plus you get that lovely jump range, about 25ly fully laiden. When trading I didn't bother with any weapons. Finally I got my Python (for more trading), and I refitted the Asp with weapons and better shields to be come a mission runner. It's a good multipurpose ship, but may not be too good at combat when faced with anything bigger than an Asp/Dropship.

Ok so I need an advice from a more experienced commander.

I have an almost maxed Type 6 and an almost maxed Viper.

I totally miss my Cobra because I’m lazy and I hate to be forced to get back to base to pickup the combat ship.

I have 1.3 milion now, and with my Lakon I can make 100.000cr (100 ton cargo) for a trip with 2 jumps that takes me less than 10 minutes. So basically I can have 500.000cr per hour.

I want a new ship but I want to max it out at the TOP TOP TOP tier.

I do powerplay and I’m starting to grind on that because I like it, but I like more to trade and defend myself in combat when I get interdicted.

Suggestions? Full COBRA? Wait to have 4 milion to buy the Diamondback? I want a fast, combat capable cargo ship.

AntodenA needs your help :)

First you need more cash for insurance.
Then I advise you to do some trading in the Type 6 and upgrade to a Clipper when possible.
Trade some more, get a Type 9.
Trade some more.
Then get any ship you want with whatever equipment you like.

Asp. It can rival the T6 for cargo but I'm weak.. mine can only hold 40t as it has to make room for all the death it has to carry.

I went from Viper -> Vulture. Was making steady progress, until I got in early on a Bounty hunting CG (thanks to the Active CG thread on this forum) and made 43m in about 4 days, which bought me a shiny new Python.

CGs - if you get in early - can be very profitable in a small amount of time.

My Cobra is worth over 11 million credits, and thats with still the standard amour still, but a boost speed of 441m/s is pretty good.
But, ive heard good things about the Asp, it may be a little slower, plus it has the same weapon loadout as the cobra, but it has quite a lot of cargo space, amour and utility slots, shield boosters will be a good thing.
Im probably gonna buy when i get back from the Horsehead nebula... i dont know how this would help but yea
The only reason i dont have a Vulture is because i use railguns and beam lasers, only two weapon slots are not enough lol

When you get truly bored, get a Diamondback Scout and outfit is as stealth scout and go PvP hunting. Good fun!
