Any list of Ships visited Sag A* thus far?

The T7 does pretty well with a low emissions power plant. Some ships will overheat in the deeper scooping zone no matter what you do, such as the Courier. But the T7 can manage it. With stock heat tuning, yeah, it'll run a bit warm compared to a lot of the standard exploration ships.
Low Emissions PP is a very interesting tip. Never looked at that mod. That just might solve a overheating ship.

Just take any ship that you like the best, that's the most important in the black, as you will be stuck with your choice for a long time. :)
This is exactly why I am on the look out trying to replace my Krait MK2 with something I like and can do everything Krait can do decently. I have no complaint for Krait in Utility department. I can do everything I do in the game quite nicely. But hate the interior and almost lack of challenge. I like Challenger but miss SLF. Test flying a Crusader for last few days to get a feel. Other than haulin big cargo it is seems to be fine in Res sites, missions etc and I get to use the SLF. Really like Alliance ship interior and cockpit seems to be begging for exploration.

From that posting clearly Alliance ships are not the most used exploration and I can understand why. But I can really see myself in that cockpit/bridge for a very long time on a long journey into the black. Now only if i can figure out how to have a shield and a SRV along with the flight hanger without losing the repair modules. :D

Most neglected will probably be the Asp Scout ;)

If you're looking for a small explorer, try the Eagle. It doesn't quite have the range of a Hauler, but you can get the jump range to 40+ and it's a much better cockpit view. Here's my build which went to Beagle Point https://s.orbis.zone/69-q
The salesman at the shipyard was trying to convince me AspX was The Ship to get. I already did not like the look the moment I laid my eyes on it. But after much pestering I decided to go for a test flight. I came back with in 5 minutes, promptly returned the ship and walked away, never the think about this again. I hated the engine sound. LOL

I tried an Eagle at CQC earlier today. I do have to agree it got good view for exploration. It is also small ship for combat so probably can push the speed for canyon running and zip through planet surface without using a SRV.

Oh yeah, I am proudly listed there. :)
I also bought fighters for exploration (with a Corvette), but to be honest, I rarely used them (and only for mk1 eyeball search for POIs, but nowadays that's obsolete). I think you are better off fitting A-rated engineered thrusters to the Challenger and have fun with your main ship instead.

O cool! How are you listed in that list? I could not find your forum name. May be named differently in that list?

From the all reading of pancaking ships on a planet without shields made me little chicken to use ships for exploration without shield. :D
I had a slight incident myself in my last 5k Ly mini exploration where I almost pancaked but was saved by the shield. Problem with Alliance ships I am finding is the inability to fit small shield generator due to their higher mass. Thats why I am tweaking a shieldless Crusader on ship planner but use a SLF for the surface inspections instead of SRV. I will be fully loaded with raw mats to synth essentials before I leave, so I wont need to drive around on surface gathering mats.

My in-game name is Mr Crown Vic P71 as in the signature!

Well, if don't want to land then having an SLF instead of an SRV is certainly feasible - and whatever floats your boat. I always fitted A-rated shields and thrusters for example, and actually the last time I ventured into the black I went with a fully armed multi-role Corvette.
I only crashed in the deep once, losing the shield AND 70% hull of the Keelback, then went on and to Beagle Point and return in one piece. I flew into a crater of a giant ice planet, and the fog was so thick I couldn't see a mountain in front of me (certainly a loss, that with FSS, finding such locations became much harder).

Why would the FSDB interfere with the AFMU?

FDL has not enough internals to fit AFMU since the FSD booster was introduced. My touring FDL has these: Shield, scoop, Guardian FSD booster, SRV and scanners as far as I remember.

Is there a way to find out the type of ships visited Sag A* thus far since Cmdr Zulu Romeo in his Cobra?

Just curious to see what are the most popular ships people are taking to Sag A* and which ships never seen the black hole.

Every type of ship has been raced to Sag A* at least once.

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to know.

As of the April 2019 update, all ships have 6 or more unrestricted optional internals, which is just enough to have the Shield, Scoop, Guardian booster, SRV, DSS, and AFMU. FDL included.
