I'm kind new to powerplay but not new to the game, any help?

Go to Galactic Powers, and click on the president's mean-looking but somehow endearing face. At the top, you will see tabs. Click on the "Expansion" tab, and you'll see two systems, Frey and LP something or other. Click on one of these, then click "open in galaxy map", and it'll show up. Then you can navigate a route to it and voila
Thanks, I've already been to this 2 systems but cant find any strikes going on, only conflict zones between minor factions.
There is a military strike in Frey near Garrett Station. I haven't been to Lalande 37120 yet but it is expanding so there are clearly Military Strikes/Security operations there as well. Try and reset your filters to Signal Sources.
Just fly to the closest station. The Military Strike should show up on your contact list well before you get there.
Also, jump in and out of the system until they spawn - we had the same situation with the first time we went into HIP 44811.
yesterday there was a miltary strike going on near the second station. i help took several ship had lot of help a python. Normaly I run from pythons but this time had help. had 2 pluse beam in turret on top med and 3 mutli guns gimballed plus a rail gun fixed , just about ran out of ammo got 80 power play .Not sure what they are but am heading to a control station to use them what ever they do.
