Discussion Any News on EDPN?

After the closure of EDDB, I was excited to see that a group of CMDRs promised to take on the project and retain the functionality under the title of Elite Dangerous Pilot Network. I signed up for their Discord, though I've no experience of coding or anything useful like that. However, I've not seen any announcements or updates from the team since June.
Is there anyone on these forums that is involved in the EDPN project? That can answer the following?
Is it still in progress?
Are there any updates on development / milestones?
And, asking for all the console players out there, will it have an option of taking in Legacy API as well as Live(4.0) API data?

If you're on their Discord then you'll be able to ask them directly there. I would also expect them to have an Announcements or Updates channel on there as well that will have the most recent information.

Yes, they have an announcement thread which has been updated with information on new Discord admins for the group, but nothing about development work since 22nd May. I tried asking on the general channel about a month ago but never received a reply. Which is why I came here.

Might be worth asking again then.

Always worth asking here too, but I fear if no one who's doing any work on it is answering in their own Discord then the chances of finding someone here who would have any information, are very small. You never know though :)

I know the thread is a couple months old, but with Elite’s recent announcements I figured I might jump back in. But without EDDB, I’m kind of hesitant. Found the EDPN news, like you, but based on their GitHub history the project is dead.

My guess is it suffered the “too many cooks” problems and people lost interest.
