Raised the question on stream and they confirmed it is NOT simply cosmetic. Staggering that they don’t know or don’t have an answer when asked if us console players can get our hands on one. Still they promised they would ‘look into it’ as usual but I’m exasperated that an issue like that wasn’t seen, understood and information presented to alleviate the stress that the recent announcements put on the console player base.

nvm - think I found it . Not convinced that they knew what was being talked about - sounds to me like they think Pioneer is one of the sets that have been discussed before, rather than the Alpha freebie. But who knows 🤷‍♀️

Edit: they said "they are all tailored" .. but there is only one alpha freebie, but multiple sets armour

However I took from it that all the suits being tailored meant they had different capabilities since that’s what was under discussion which makes the pioneer suit unique. So maybe they did understand.

Yeah, I can see why you read it that way, I'm just .. less convinced :) Especially after they got the %age galaxy explored completely wrong earlier and had to look it up. We'll find out soon enough!
