Hey folks,

Sorry in advance because I know these questions are asked and answered all the time.

Any idea when we can expect to see the improved mining update? If I recall, there was talk of cracking asteroids and... what else? More stuff to mine/find? Can't recall.

Second an increase or expansion of activities to undertake on planet surfaces?

Was *anything* ever announced for Q2/Q3? Or is every major update change slated for Q4? (Mining lighting exploration codex planetary terrain Fleet Carriers Squadrons?)

Just that updates 2&3 would be smaller. So my guess is Power Play tweaks, the Krait and with any luck reasonable rates at the material traders and a more engaging mechanism for finding High Grade Signal Sources and a rework of the boring wake scanning mechanic.

Given that Frontier are back to being their normal communicative selves, we have no idea what is coming but my guess is that it will be stuff no bigger than the Guardian modules that dropped in recent weeks.

Wait...what... We're getting another year of updates gratis...? I go away for two months, come back... and there is a year of free things!

Obviously we should whinge and whine and prise that horse's jaws open for critical examination!

Obviously I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd rather have something worth paying for...

I'm not going to mention the multitude of threads here and on reddit from us asking for FDev to stop adding new features and start improving the existing ones, but apparently paid content is planned as well for this year.

Well done falling into the trap that FD can't be criticised because everything is free.

Elite is in maintenance mode in 2018 but it's ok because it's free. No, it's really not ok.

Multiple ships, as far as I know. Thats it. These two are supposedly (very) minor patches, so anything more than a few new ships would be a bonus to me. The q4 update should be the big one.
