Any one else tired of constant updates

sounds to me like you were just unlucky with timing of the purchase. I've been playing since December and really enjoying it. There have been major patches every 4/5 weeks with minor ones most weeks which are generally small and take about 10 mins to update (4 mbps connection).

I'm not sure how up to speed you are with the game but this week has been the most significant update since its release so from a risk of stability perspective it's probably the most disruptive week you could have purchased.

I expect by the weekend all will have stabilised and you'll be able to get down to some serious bounty hunting ;-)

I hope that everyone who gave the OP a hard time are proud of yourselves. He's a NEW PLAYER, and we've had 4GB of upgrades in the past 3 days, so his question is valid. Be nice out there everyone. It should be a forum rule. Oh wait...

To the OP, yes it's just bad timing. The game was release 3 months ago, and has had two major upgrades (1.1 and 1.2) Version 1.2 was released a couple of days ago, along with a minor update yesterday. You might see daily updates (1.2.0x) for the next 3-4 days, then it'll calm down until 1.3 comes out.
