Any one playing the beta on a Core 2 Duo?

I have a core 2 duo E7500 at 3GHz, 4GB ram and Radeon 5850.

I have no idea how it copes on games since the only game I play on it a few times a year is Dawn of War, don't have time or interest in anything else to invest more time on the PC - except then this game.


Anyway is anyone out there played on a Core 2 Duo I would be glad to know.
Maybe I can delay upgrading it's not the right time for me.

I was playing ED on my old i7 870 with a GTX760. Just built myself a shiny new PC with an i7 4790k CPU, 16gb RAM and a GTX970 and I see almost no difference.

ED isn't a resource hog it seems and plays quite nicely on older technology. Nice to see!

Interesting to know, I've got a C2Q but I'm surprised that C2D is ok with it, good to know though :)

i7 870 is well over the min spec ;), nice upgrade though! :D

Mine is an AMD duo, not lightening quick but it gets by. Someone posted yesterday that they were playing on an atom ... Which i think is pretty amazing
