Any one running mirrored mil armoron combat ships?

I just switched to it after running plain military for the longest time but seems like with 1.1 now more ships are running kinetic weapons (probably because of heat issues) so I may revert back to the Military to have a better compromise. Will have to say that the week leading up to 1.1 it was great you almost took no damage from lasers.

Running mill Armour on all my ships except the Anaconda. Is it worth it? Yes of course, as long as you have the money and don't mind the weight. On bigger ships I am not too sure if it's worth upgrading hull unless you are near to a billionaire. I would never be in a position where my shields are down and hull is taking severe damage.

I run a Viper with mirrored armour, because as now, every 'conda (150-200K missions) I have gone up against has a gajillion beams, with maybe a missle or two.

pre 1.1 my cibra sported a military crade armor (i did not do much fighting after it) and i could trade HULL with an anaconda in a fight. So it is really worth the cost

I could see using it on a viper because the shields come back online pretty quick. Python shields go down you are a sitting duck and would be blown away minutes before your shields would come back.

You can see how slow Python shield recharge is in this video. For those who don't want to sit through video a Clipper can recharge it's shields twice in the time it take python to do it once.
