Any plans to link community-based resources to E:D on Xbox One?

I was wondering if there was any possibility or consideration for working with 3rd party resources such as inara.cz or eddb.io to enhance the Xbox One E:D experience?

I am aware that inara can track player movements and travel history using PC files and it would be great to be able to do similar on the Xbox

Cheers.

You probably know that we use the same data so all the trade helpers and ship builders are the same across all versions.
But PC players contribute to the databases by screenshotting the commodity market, which is automatically read, converted to text and sent to eddb.io. I don't see how we could do that

There's discussions on the main forum around an API of some sort, which would allow all sorts of stuff to interrogate the ED backend to extract information (so the various trade tools, phone apps etc). If I recall FD have expressed an interest, but believe as with a lot of things it's way down their list of priorities.

Ok. I see the issues there.

What about an official companion app for mobile? I bet there'd be some interest in that...

There used to be an official companion app for PC players, but it went without updates for a long time and I don't think that it even exists anymore (I've just tried searching the App Store and found nothing).
