Any remaining position for bounty hunting since 1.07 patch left ?

SOLO did more often give proper framerates but suffers from the same issue.
I am not sure if the network traffic is lower in SOLO mode, I guess the same traffic is sent out as in multi player.

Solo just means that no one else is allowed in your instance.

Man, what RES do you guys go to? Ever time I go to one the only thing I ever find is sidewinders with bounties of like, 1k each. Can't make any money

to be honest mate i go to the nearest 1 in the system im in, check out jerreh, if its all sidewinders, i hope across to the next RES, keep doing the same ........ until i find cobras/condas, then its game on

lhs1875 and sol jupiter have been happy hunting grounds

and its quite handy to have friends check out the other RES in the same system,

Ok, so I installed Win7 x64 on another partition, and I can say the problem is the same (55 fps in RES). So it's not an operating system issue, at least for me.
I'm now looking at network speed, as Tetsuko is on high speed fibre optic, and me on a crappy ADSL connection.
I used speedtest for checking : http://www.speedtest.net/

Mickeeie mouse, Lirezh, where do you come from ? Did you have high speed fibre optic ? If not can you post your speedtest ?

id overclock that CPU to 4+ghz and is the RAM speed correct that you posted KospY?

add me online and well go check it out ;) or tell me which system to go to and ill take a look at my fps whilst there

other things, CPU core parking is disabled as is C1E state and all that other similar stuff,............... and hyperthreading is ON

For me the fps drop is the same in any RES. I don't seem related to the place. It's always stuck at 55 FPS max after waiting 1-2 min in a RES. I'm in a ASP.
hyperthreading is ON too I think (never touched that). I can try core parking, what did you do for that ? (used a program ?)

Same, you can reset the RES you are in by jumping to SC then going back in. Just keep doing that until you have Cobras spawning. They run around 11-15k a pop. Anacondas I've had bounties of over 90k. Easy money too because you can let the locals knock down their shields and most of their hull, then zoom in for the coup de grace and get all the money. And kill Sideys and Cobras while you wait.
