Any Shipyard near Dryman's Point?

Just a quick exploration question.

I left the bubble quite a while ago : https://s.orbis.zone/5rcx

I'm now at 49% hull, which is absolutely fine and manageable, but I want to re-equip since I have items that I want to remove (mining laser) but more importantly items that did not previously exist that I'd like to equip (hull repair limpet & super cruise assist).

What are the options for someone out at Dryman's? There is a station at Sag A I believe now, one near Beagle's? Maybe head that way, I think I'd prefer to head somewhere rather than going back to the bubble. Or maybe heading back to the bubble is realistically the only reasonable route to do this?

Sag A* has a station, but there is nothing else past the center of the galaxy. I guess your best bets are Explorer's Anchorage (near Sag A*), Colonia or one of the outposts on the Colonia-Bubble highway.

Edit : from Dryman's Point, maybe Morgan's Rock is closer than Explorer's Anchorage...
Edit2 : no outfitting in Morgan's Rock though...

Looks like Sag A then. It's 30Kly to Sag A or the same to the bubble and nobody wants to visit there.

Anyone know if they have the auto-supercruise modules and the hull repair controllers out at Sag A?

Ah crap they have neither supercruise assist nor hull repair limpet controllers :(

They have rail guns, missile racks and military composite armour though, yes I can see there would be high demand for that out there. 🤔

There is a shipyard at Explorer's Anchorage. IIRC when you buy a ship, the supercruise assist module is sometimes already fitted. So you could buy a ship, strip the SA module and then sell the ship... However that's a risky bet. If it doesn't work then you would have to head to Colonia.

Man makes a fair point though; why DO they sell so many weapons and armor at EA? Christ they even sell interdictors out there! Who the hell's interdicting 30k LYs from civilisation?!

I was there recently, limited outfitting but the key point is no repair limpet controllers so there's really very little point stopping there if that is a priority. There are CZ's and combat POI's in the system hence the selling of weapons and other offensive and defensive gear. You can fly out geared to explore and then stop at EA and gear up for some combat as a bit of a change of pace.

As I recall, XA doesn't have a shipyard, just a limited outfitting selection. If you want a shipyard to do the "buy ship, take its parts" trick, without going into the bubble or Colonia, your best bet will be the places like the Omega Nebula, Rohini, and Seagull Nebula. I don't remember if any of those have the modules in question, but they do have outfitting and shipyards.

My guess is that the outfitting at Explorer's Anchorage is a remnant of DW2 and Fedev just forgot to change it to a more explorer friendly outfitting. And regarding to eddb they have the Supercruise Assist.

Yes, you're right ! My bad. I have to learn how to read carefully eddb.io ;) There is no shipyard at Explorer's Anchorage.
