Ok, so the vet and her assistant came by to the house to do the annual vaccination of the doggies. We have 6 relatively small ones, at least compared to the 6 giant Shepherds we used to have in more prosperous times.
The smallest dog is 2 years old, and gets bullied all the time by her siblings. We humans intervene whenever it gets out of hand, and make sure they get equal access to food etc, but we obviously cannot provide 24 hour babysitting. So she takes a lot of lumps we just can't prevent.
And so she's extremely suspicious.
It wasn't possible to get her to take her shot. The vet left the needle in our fridge, for me to do it.
Went outside with the hypo. Got mobbed, as usual. Put the biggest 2 in the kennels. One ran inside the house for the wife to wrangle.
Caught Jade, with a cookie. Gave her the shot one handed.
I'm all bandaged up now.
