Any stations away from home?

I'm currently jumping around in my Asp in the Taurus Dark region. Just wondering if I'm wasting my time trying to find a dock.
Is there any life out here or is that the whole concept that it may or may not get development in the future depending who does what.
Do I continue searching or do I head back to what I know as populated home?

You hold onto the hope that those deep space systme may get populated in the future. *there is reason why you get paid more for scanning terraformable worlds.


For now, our small bubble of populated space is it.

From my understanding it's all empty space out there, that they will be adding more to it in time, until then, I personally would head back home lol

To be honest I'd drank a fair few brandies so not entirely sure but I don't reckon it was that long maybe an hour.
The tricky part was getting home with a half baked fuel scoop that does about a litre a week.
Had to do some serious planning out for scoopable stars on the way back, nothing at all out there really.
But finally got back to Diaguandri in one piece but forgot I had a wanted level there as i took on a mission against my own faction and nearly got shot to bits going in the letterbox.
Just about jumped to another system, bought a sidewinder and blew it to lose the wanted level so I could get back to collect my Vulture.

Only had a basic scanner and got about 100k for discoveries, think I spent more on repairs and fuel lol.

Christopher Columbus is not my name.

Really, I found nada/nothing/zilch
Was really lonely out there for me.
Maybe one day not so soon I will take another punt, will defo take more fuel and a decent scoop though.

The furthest station i know is in Sothis(500AL from Sol) I dont think there is any other beyond that point.
