Finding it difficult to navigate the map, any tips?
Any tips for using the map in VR?

Tilt your view up at 30 to 45 degrees so that the cursor circle is visible. I use voiceattack for that. And bind the movements to your controller or HOTAS. With those, the galaxy map is very usable in VR.
I use the stick twist and vertical, to set a good viewing angle, two buttons to move the plane up and down, then just throttle / side stick to basically drive around in it. Oh and paddle to zoom in and out.
How the hell do I find the reticule? I can move around the map, but can't select anything apart from the menu on the left side of the map. I have pitched, yawed, rotated, but no reticule. How do I select a star?
problem solved. I turned the navigation check box off, then back on.
