Any update on if pc users will get the console vers. additions?

Will Frontier ever update Planet Coaster on PC so it can stand shoulder to shoulder with the console version of the game (in terms of QOL changes and the improved campaign content)?

C'mon y'all, some of us paid more than the RRP when the game was essentially EA, we got the DLC packs and when the console version launched all we got communication wise was: "We have nothing to announce"

What's the tea?

They have nothing to announce.

I have a hunch we PC players are getting a PC2 anytime in the future.

How is QOL suffering in the PC version? I have one of the most scenery-intensive parks, American Celebration, that I've been building over the past four years. It still works well. FPS is in the 14-17 range when the park is closed, which, frankly, is shockingly good given the parks' complexity. I work on it almost every weekend.

I am hoping that PC2, if it ever happens, will leverage multi-cores since one of the main performance hits is the CPU demands when the park is populated with guests. So, leverage multi-core and let me import my PC1 park because I don't want to have to build this again! :)

If there's nothing to announce then there really is nothing to announce. It's not just "a line".

Honestly when we purchase the game we purchase whatever we're buying, if it's the base game or DLC's, we are not paying for the expectation of future content. If more comes then we can buy it, if nothing else comes 🤷‍♀️.

The Console is a different UI, made differently so I don' t expect to see anything from that version in PC. It's also made from an Updated Cobra Engine which is why it looks different and updated from our PC version.

Ok but like...a "no" would suffice 😅

The console version got stuff that should've just been moved over the to the pc version and they're features that make sense for all versions of the game and don't necessarily require an updated version of the Cobra engine. (I.e. the fully voiced campaign)

I like to explain myself :) There would have been some 🤔 if I just said "No, you can't have it"

Found this thread as well, just wanted native controller support to match the consoles. Its hard to play the PC version after getting used to the simplicity that the console version brings

So this seems to be the unofficial statement that Planet Coaster (on pc) is dead. And they don't care about any suggestions for updates or more dlcs.

Yes it's true if you buy a game, you buy the offered features and not more. It's fully up to the developers to add or not to add new content or release any bugfixes.
But... if they keep going on that way (ignoring the customers) it will be their self made bankrupt.

These days, games full of bugs will be rushed out to make quick money. "Eat or die" is the concept in this industry. It's a real shame and for the future, it will keep gamers away from buying games early after release untill they can be sure to get a bug free game with all that content they're thinking it has to be included.

For myself and a focus on PC, I wouldn't buy it again knowing that there's a huge lack of other rides that will never get filled.
Think about it!
