Wouldn't it be cool though if you could, as player, charter a flight to your destination from the bulletin board and another player could take you in their passenger vessel (e.g. Orca)? All in real-time?

Maybe once walking around ships and stations, NPC passengers and then Player passengers and crew comes along...

Could be done. You charter a flight on the BB, another player takes you as passenger. While in flight you chat and play online mini-games with other passengers. Or original ELITE. That would be cool.
